December 6, 2023: Coal Township, PA 17866 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), by a margin of 57-54.
The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Mount Carmel was tipped by Minersville (Minersville, PA), 59-53, in a non-league outing.
The Comets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Greater Nanticoke Area for a Wyoming Valley 1 outing on Monday, December 11. Crestwood will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 42-36 league loss to Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
