Colorado High School Basketball - Discovery Canyon can't hold off Northfield

The Northfield Nighthawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder to 54 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centaurus for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Northfield will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-32 non-league win over Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

The Thunder (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Farmers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Wheat Ridge was nudged by Centaurus (Lafayette, CO), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
