Arkansas High School Basketball - Trumann ripped by East Poinsett County
December 6, 2023: Lepanto, AR 72354 The East Poinsett County Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Trumann Wildcats to 46 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the victory, East Poinsett County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Marked Tree won 49-39 in their recent league challenge against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) in a 4A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Trumann will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
