Alabama High School Basketball - Southside can't hold off Hatch
December 6, 2023: Uniontown, AL 36786 The Hatch Bobcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Southside Panthers to 58 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Hatch will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-38 non-league loss to Marion (Marion, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dallas County (Plantersville, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Dallas County nudged Autaugaville (Autaugaville, AL), 43-41, in a non-league contest.
