Ohio High School Basketball - Rootstown overwhelms Aquinas

December 6, 2023: Rootstown, OH 44272

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH) and the visiting Aquinas Knights (Louisville, OH), saw Rootstown's basketball squad wallop Aquinas by a tally of 62-27.

With the victory, Rootstown improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Rovers host Revere (Richfield, OH) to confront the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Revere lost 49-43 in their recent league challenge against Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH)

Next up, the Knights confront the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 63-47 league loss to Washington (Massillon, OH).
