Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), 58-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chantilly upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Western (Davie, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Western won 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against John Marshall (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Majors play the Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
