Illinois High School Basketball - Iroquois West fells Herscher
December 6, 2023: Gilman, IL 60938 Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 41-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Iroquois West upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Raiders host Chrisman (Chrisman, IL) to play the Cardinals in a Vermilion Valley bout on Thursday, December 7. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Chrisman won 48-25 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage (Broadlands, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 bout, on Thursday, December 7. Herscher will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 44-15 non-league win over Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL).
