Louisiana High School Basketball - Iota can't hold off Southside
December 6, 2023: Youngsville, LA The Iota Bulldogs basketball team (Iota, LA), was nudged 40-38 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA)
The Sharks now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Charles College Prep for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. Southside will battle a Trailblazers team coming off a 65-28 non-league loss to Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 5-3.
The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Midland (Midland, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Midland was nudged by Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 74-60, in a non-league battle.
