Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newcomerstown Trojans (Newcomerstown, OH), 33-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Malvern upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to East Canton (East Canton, OH) to play the Hornets in a Inter-Valley bout on Saturday, December 9.
