New York High School Basketball - Beacon holds off Our Lady of Lourdes
December 6, 2023: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) and the host Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY), saw Beacon's basketball squad hold off Our Lady of Lourdes by a tally of 65-58.
With the victory, Beacon improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) to confront the Huguenots in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Huguenots come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Our Lady of Lourdes will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
