The Lightning now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everglades for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Cypress Bay will battle a Gators team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Gators record now stands at 2-2.
The Chiefs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Westminster Academy edged St. John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton, FL), 43-39, in a non-league battle.
