North Carolina High School Basketball - Cuthbertson nips Salisbury
December 6, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28144 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) and the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), saw Cuthbertson's basketball squad hold off Salisbury by a count of 60-54.
With the victory, Cuthbertson upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Indian Land won 65-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
Next up, the Hornets play the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Salisbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
