Oregon High School Basketball - Alsea holds off Waldport
December 6, 2024: Alsea, OR 97324 The Alsea Wolverines basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Waldport Irish to 39 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Falls City/Kings Valley Charter for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Alsea will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 31-18 non-league loss to Crow (Eugene, OR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Waldport falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Irish travel to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR) to confront the Lancers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.
