December 6, 2024: Burlington, WA 98233 Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Kingston Buccaneers (Kingston, WA), 83-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Burlington-Edison upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA) to face the Storm in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Monday, December 9. The Storm enter the match with a record of 1-1. Squalicum lost 59-56 in their recent non-league match against Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA)
The Buccaneers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bremerton for a 2A Olympic match on Tuesday, December 10. Kingston will face a Knights squad coming off a 91-22 league win over North Kitsap (Poulsbo, WA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
