In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Higley Knights basketball team scored a close 53-51 triumph over the Casteel Colts.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Desert Vista was tipped by Hamilton (Chandler, AZ), 70-65, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Colts battle the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Casteel will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
