California High School Basketball - Cornerstone Christian nudges Marin Academy
December 6, 2024: Antioch, CA 94509 Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Antioch, CA) and the visiting Marin Academy Wildcats (San Rafael, CA), saw Cornerstone Christian's basketball team nip Marin Academy by a tally of 56-49.
The Cougars now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Terra Linda for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Cornerstone Christian will play a Trojans team coming off a 58-38 non-league win over College Prep (Oakland, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Marin Academy falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Redwood Christian (San Lorenzo, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7.
