Florida High School Basketball - Dwyer nudges Suncoast

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dwyer Panthers (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) and the host Suncoast Chargers (Riviera Beach, FL), observed Dwyer's basketball team edge Suncoast by a score of 56-51.

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Brendan (Miami, FL). The Sabres come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Brendan edged Mater Academy Charter (Hialeah Gardens, FL), 78-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Boynton Beach Tigers (Boynton Beach, FL) in a 4A District 14 challenge, on Monday, December 9. Suncoast will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 45-40 non-league win over West Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL).
