In Friday's league test, the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), by a score of 70-49.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Eno River Academy Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 9. East Wake Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 60-58 non-league win over Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC).
