The Mt. Zion Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Atlanta Classical Academy for a A D2 Region 7 game on Wednesday, December 11. Mt. Zion will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 75-56 league loss to Trion (Trion, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Elite Scholars Academy falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Royal knights travel to Greenville (Greenville, GA) to play the Patriots in a A D2 Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 10.
