Texas High School Basketball - Estacado knocks off Mesquite
December 6, 2024: Mesquite, TX 75149 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Estacado Matadors basketball team scored a good 69-58 win over the Mesquite Skeeters.
The Matadors (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Permian (Odessa, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Permian was topped by Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX), 56-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Skeeters battle the North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Mesquite will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Stallions come into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 70-34 non-league win over Hampton Prep (Dallas, TX).
