The Metro-East Lutheran Knights basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Father McGivney Catholic Griffins to 64 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Christ Our Rock Lutheran for a Gateway game on Tuesday, December 10. Metro-East Lutheran will play a Silver Stallions team coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Madison (Madison, IL). The Silver Stallions record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Father McGivney Catholic falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL) to play the Crusaders in a Gateway game on Tuesday, December 10.
