Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac Senior can't hold off Flowers

December 6, 2024: Springdale, MD 20774

Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Potomac Senior Panthers (Dumfries, VA), 55-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Flowers advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD) to face the Pumas in a Prince George's County 4A match on Tuesday, December 10. The Pumas enter the match with a record of 0-1. Wise lost 94-60 in their recent non-league match against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC)

The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Stafford for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7.
