In Friday's league contest, the visiting North Hagerstown Hubs basketball team scored a good 81-63 triumph over the Frederick Cadets.

The Hubs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Leopards go into the CMC contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Smithsburg was topped by Brunswick (Brunswick, MD), 56-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cadets battle the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Frederick will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Coyotes go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 61-57 non-league loss to Urbana (Ijamsville, MD).
