In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Friendswood Mustangs basketball team scored a close 64-57 win over the St. Thomas Catholic Eagles.

The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX). The Mavericks come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Pasadena Memorial edged Needville (Needville, TX), 74-53, in a non-league contest.
