Maine High School Basketball - Katahdin sneaks past Schenck
December 6, 2024: East Millinocket, ME 04430 The Katahdin Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Schenck Wolverines to 49 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Southern Aroostook for a D North game on Tuesday, December 10. Katahdin will play a Warriors team coming off a 65-47 league loss to Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Schenck falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Penquis Valley (Milo, ME) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, December 9.
