Virginia High School Basketball - New Hanover victorious over Miller School of Albemarle

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting New Hanover Wildcats basketball team scored a good 78-59 triumph over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Lake Norman topped West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 90-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mavericks confront the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Miller School of Albemarle will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Gators go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 79-44 non-league win over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
