Oregon High School Basketball - Southwest Christian overwhelms Powers
December 6, 2024: Beaverton, OR 97007 The Southwest Christian Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Powers Cruisers to 32 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Country Christian for a 1A Valley 10 game on Saturday, December 7. Southwest Christian will confront a Cougars team coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Colton (Colton, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Powers falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cruisers travel to Perrydale (Amity, OR) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 0-1. Perrydale lost 58-22 in their recent non-league game against Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR)
