December 6, 2024: Shirley, AR 72153 Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Shirley Blue Devils (Shirley, AR), 64-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Yellville-Summit advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Panthers host Salem (Salem, AR) to meet the Greyhounds in a 3A Region 2 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Blue Devils now own a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Side for a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, December 10. Shirley will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 64-51 league loss to Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 5-8.
