December 6, 2024: Elmhurst, IL 60126 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL), 42-9 in a non-league match.
With the victory, York advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Dukes host Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL) to face the Huskies in a match on Tuesday, December 10. The Warriors now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chicago Marshall for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. Westinghouse will face a Commandos squad coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL). The Commandos record now stands at 1-0.
