Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Riverview can't hold off Aquinas Academy

Aquinas Academy Crusaders (Gibsonia, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Riverview Raiders (Oakmont, PA), 45-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Aquinas Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Crusaders host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to face the Gremlins in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Gremlins enter the match with a record of 2-0. Karns City won 37-35 in their recent non-league match against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Raiders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brentwood for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Riverview will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 35-34 non-league win over Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
