Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX), 52-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pollok Central advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to meet the Lumberjacks in a 3A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Lumberjacks enter the match with a record of 10-2. Diboll won 36-16 in their recent non-league match against Zavalla (Zavalla, TX)

The Roughriders now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tatum for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Center will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 63-47 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
