In Friday's non-league test, the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) basketball squad knocked off the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), by a score of 58-47.

Next, the Lancers encounter the Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 10. Linganore will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 53-45 non-league loss to Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD).
