The East Gaston Warriors basketball squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was crushed 61-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC)

With the victory, North Gaston advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Rams in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Highland Tech lost 40-36 in their recent non-league battle against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)

The Warriors now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. East Gaston will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.
