North Carolina High School Basketball - Hillside thwarted by Panther Creek
December 6, 2024: Cary, NC 27519 The Panther Creek Catamounts basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Hillside Hornets to 60 in the Catamounts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Catamounts now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cary for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Panther Creek will confront a Imps team coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Imps record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Hillside falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 2-0. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability won 61-48 in their recent non-league game against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)
