December 6, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the visiting Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA), saw Ponderosa's soccer squad hold off Liberty Ranch by a count of 1-0.
The Bruins (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, El Dorado tipped El Camino (Sacramento, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 7. Liberty Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rosemont (Sacramento, CA).
