In Saturday's non-league test, the North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Almeta Crawford Chargers (Rosharon, TX), by a score of 64-54.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 9. North Shore will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 12-1 record after their 68-60 non-league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX).

The Chargers (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 2-7 record.
