The Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball edged the host Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), 47-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

Next, the Foxes encounter the Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 9. Fox Chapel will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Indiana (Indiana, PA).
