Kentucky High School Basketball - St. Xavier triumphant over Cooper
December 6, 2025: Louisville, KY 40217 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), observed St. Xavier's basketball team overwhelm Cooper by a score of 89-31.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against SPIRE Academy (Geneva, OH). The SPIRE come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, SPIRE Academy was routed by Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH), 62-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 11. Cooper will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Colonels enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 85-41 non-league win over St. Henry (Erlanger, KY).
