Kentucky High School Basketball - Letcher County Central can't hold off Raceland
December 6, 2025: Whitesburg, KY 41858 Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Letcher County Central Cougars (Whitesburg, KY), 80-73 in a non-league contest.
The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY) in a District 53 contest, on Monday, December 8. Letcher County Central will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 73-31 non-league loss to Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY).
