Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shenango nips South Range
December 6, 2025: New Castle, PA 16101 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) and the visiting South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH), observed Shenango's basketball team edge South Range by a margin of 53-46.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Rams go into the WPIAL 2A 4 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, South Side nipped Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA), 92-57, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Raiders face the Lakeview Bulldogs (Cortland, OH) in a Northeast 8 match, on Friday, December 12. South Range will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 64-51 non-league win over Badger (Kinsman, OH).
