Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Immanuel Christian Warriors (El Paso, TX), 44-42 in a non-league contest.

The Scorpions (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Austin was tipped by Taft (San Antonio, TX), 66-10, in a non-league outing.
