December 6, 2025: Minot, ND South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND), 55-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Prairie/Max upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The travel to Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND) to face the Mavericks in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 2-0. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood won 50-38 in their recent non-league match against Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND)
The Tommies now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grafton for a A Region 2 match on Tuesday, December 9. Thompson will face a Spoilers squad coming off a 61-35 non-league win over Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Spoilers record now stands at 1-0.
