Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN), 75-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Minnetonka upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Skippers travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Hawks play the Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Chaska will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 81-57 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
