Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Father Ryan Fightin' Irish (Nashville, TN), 58-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Page (Franklin, TN) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-4.
