Maryland High School Basketball - Sandy Spring Friends tops McLean
December 7, 2021: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting McLean (Potomac, MD), saw Sandy Spring Friends's basketball squad knock off McLean by a count of 61-44.
With the victory, Sandy Spring Friends upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildebeests host Spencerville Adventist Academy (Spencerville, MD) to play the Hornets in a Potomac Valley challenge on Thursday, December 9. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the play the Washington International Red Devils (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Friday, January 14. McLean will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
