Ohio High School Basketball - St. Charles can't hold off New Albany
December 7, 2021: Columbus, OH 43209 The New Albany Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host St. Charles Cardinals to 61 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a Ohio Capital - Ohio contest on Friday, December 10. New Albany will battle a Golden Lions team coming off a 79-31 league win over Westland (Galloway, OH). The Golden Lions record now stands at 5-0.
The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH). The Eagles come into the Central Catholic contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop Watterson edged Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH), 39-28, in a league contest.
