Wisconsin High School Basketball - Westfield Area tops Amherst
December 7, 2021: Westfield, WI 53964 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Westfield Area Pioneers (Westfield, WI) and the visiting Amherst Falcons (Amherst, WI), saw Westfield Area's basketball squad knock off Amherst by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Westfield Area improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Pacelli (Stevens Point, WI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Falcons play the Shiocton Chiefs (Shiocton, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - East challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Amherst will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 38-37 league win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI).
