Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Brewster Bulldogs (Brewster, KS), 54-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wichita County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Indians host St. Francis (St. Francis, KS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-1. St. Francis won 71-49 in their recent non-league bout against Logan/Palco (Logan, KS)

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greeley County (Tribune, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Greeley County was overwhelmed by McClave (McClave, CO), 52-21, in a non-league battle.
