Michigan High School Basketball - Canton can't hold off Saline
December 7, 2021: Saline, MI 48176 The Saline Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Canton Chiefs to 44 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bedford for a Southeastern - Red contest on Friday, December 10.
The Chiefs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Falcons come into the Catholic Central contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Divine Child edged Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI), 47-32, in a non-league contest.
