West Virginia High School Basketball - Summers County crushes Greenbrier West
December 7, 2021: Hinton, WV 25951 Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV), 54-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Summers County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bobcats host Montcalm (Montcalm, WV) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Montcalm lost 58-22 in their recent league bout against River View (Bradshaw, WV)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 10. Greenbrier West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 43-42 league loss to Moorefield (Moorefield, WV).
